About Sheryl

“Yes. Of course. I’d be happy to. It’s no problem at all.”

Sheryl Green has taken “people-pleasing” to Olympic levels. For decades, she put everyone else’s needs above her own… until she hit a metaphorical brick wall.

After committing to one-too-many responsibilities, Sheryl discovered the importance of boundaries… okay, she actually discovered that boundaries were even “a thing.” Now she works with individuals and organizations to establish healthy boundaries to improve relationships,  communication, and well-being.

“Goth” as a teenager, Sheryl dreamed of being an FBI Profiler and hunting down serial killers. She earned a Master’s Degree in Forensic Psychology but decided against spending her days in the minds of criminals. Instead, she has worked in Mental Health, Customer Service, Public Relations, Education, and the Non-Profit world. This brings a unique blend of experience and insight to her audiences.

Sheryl is the author of six books (of her own), including  “Surviving to Thriving: How to Overcome Setbacks and Rock Your Life,” Once Upon a Bottom Line: Harnessing the Power of Storytelling in Sales,” Book Writing For Busy People,” Do Good to Do Better: The Small Business Guide to Growing Your Business by Helping Nonprofits,” “A Pet Parent’s Guide to First Aid and Prevention,” and her latest, “You Had Me at ‘No’: How Setting Healthy Boundaries Helps you Banish Burnout, Repair Relationships, and Save Your Sanity.”

She is also an avid animal advocate, dedicating her life to providing a voice for those who cannot speak. She previously served as the Director of Communications and Cuddling for a local animal rescue and continues to donate her time, talent, and money to animal welfare organizations.

When she’s not working, she’s spending time with her husband and their two fur babies, doing yoga, and tending to a small jungle’s worth of houseplants.

Good Works

In addition to sharing her platform with animals in need, Sheryl donates a portion of her book sales and speaking engagements to local animal rescues and welfare organizations. Currently, she is supporting:

Vegas Pet Rescue Project, is a 501(c)3 organization working to positively impact the Las Vegas homeless, abused, and abandoned pets that overwhelm our shelter system by giving them a new lease on LIFE. In addition, they help finance spay and neuter programs to help low-income families be responsible pet owners and to decrease the overpopulation issues we face in Vegas. Learn more at Vegaspetrescueproject.org.

Vegas Cat Rescue, a 501(c)3 organization that is working to reduce the ever-growing feral and stray cat population (200,000+). Their program provides medical attention (including spay and neuter), food, and whenever possible, a forever home for these cats and kittens. Their long-term goal is to create a sanctuary so the rescued cats can live their lives in a safe environment. Learn more at vegascatrescue.org.
